What materials do you use?
Raptor Arts creates masks & costumes that are made from a variety of materials. In most cases I sculpt the masks in clay and mold them to produce a hard resin mask. If you want a traditional foam mask for your head I do that as well. Most of the masks I create you look out of the eye holes of the heads rather than out of the mouth. I also create latex masks which are also sculpted from clay and molded. These masks are like the Halloween masks where you can crunch them and fold them up and they will pop back into shape.
Do you only do masks & costumes?
Nope. I create limited edition sculptures and models as well as just about anything else you can possibly imagine. Just look at my gallery and you will see the variety of things that I create.
What styles of costumes and masks does Raptor Arts offer?
You can order anything, from cartoon looking to realistic. I am not afraid to try out new creatures that have not been done before.
Where do you see out of your masks?
For most of the head you see out of the actual eye area. Masks where they have plastic or glass eyes you see out the eye ducts. The one with the most range of vision is the use your own eye style. Those you do not have anything restricting your vision. If you are interested in seeing out the mouth, nose or neck be sure to ask me.
How many people make up Raptor Arts?
At the moment theres just me.
Do you make copyrighten characters (from games, tv, movies..etc)?
No, I do not. Do take in mind if the character does not belong to you, or has a copyright I cannot make it.
Can you make my ears move, my lips snarl, and all that with animatronics?
At the moment I don't do anything with RC Animatronics. But I can interpret cable controlled animatronics in the mask.
I sent an Email and you didn't reply
I always reply to emails the same day they are sent but sometimes I do go on vacations so please be patient. If it's been more then a week and I haven't replied, please send another message. My Spam filter on occasion deletes messages.
I do not live in the US, can I still order from Raptor Arts?
Yes you can. I offer my services worldwide. This means I will ship anywhere in the world, no matter where you are.

Can I add your link to my page?
Of course!
Will you sculpt anthro characters?
It has been brought to my attention that there are many sculptors out there that shy away from doing such sculptures. I have no idea why but oh well their loss. When I say I can sculpt anything I stick to it. I will sculpt any kind of character you want as long as it doesn't infringe on somebody's copyright. If you want cartoony or realistic let me know.
Are you a furry?
In short, no I am not a furry. I am a creature sculptor and accept commissions on just about any character. Weather it's a furry one, scaly one, insectoid or a beast with huge tentacles. I enjoy dressing up in my costumes and going to contests, events and fairs where costumes are allowed. I do like anthro art and fantasy art. But in no way does this make me a furry. Theres nothing wrong with furries and in my opinion from what I have seen on Deviant Art, they are some of the most interesting people. :) So don't judge people before you actually get to know them. You never know, they might be the artist of one of your favorite books or favorite toy line.
